Weirditorial – The Future of The Time MaZine

Hey there weirdos!

For those you that have been keep track of the brief history of Weird Mask, you will remember that in early issue of the print zine, there were quite a few stories of old.

That was were my love for the genre came from.

Edgar Allan Poe, Edgar Rice Burroughs, Robert E. Howard, H. P. Lovecraft, Clark Ashton Smith, Raymond Chandler, Dashiell Hammett, Carol John Daly, etc.

After getting so many awesome submissions for Weird Mask by amazing new and young authors, I felt like I needed to move the older stories into it’s own zine. That is when The Time MaZine call to life.

After six issues or so of TM, I needed to scale physical production back for a time.

This made me sad.

I love putting out the old stuff. It puts a smile on face that would put every scary clown out of business.

Doing Frankenstein every day last month and Dracula every day this month is a step in the right direction!

But, We need more themed days around here. So, starting tomorrow, we will have REHWednesdays and HPLThursdays!

With REH, we will be starting off with the order that I believe the Conan stories should be told in.

With HPL, we will be running through his work in chronological order, starting with some silly stories that he wrote as a child. (You should be jealous and ashamed of yourself for writing so little when this kid is running circles around you!)

I hope you enjoy all this stuff. I will.

Keep it weird,

The Weirditor
